Dave Fleet's Snippets
Almost makes me sound smart

From Canadian Business, re. branding and social media:

“It can be intimidating,” says Dave Fleet, an account director at marketing agency Thornley Fallis and head of the firm’s social-media practice. “For a long time, companies have been able to broadcast their messages out and assume that they had been received. Now social media are turning that on its head. Not only are people able to talk back to companies, which is scary enough on its own, but they’re also able to talk to each other much more freely than they were before, which has really changed the communications landscape. It requires a shift in mindset.”
