“I don’t have time to do this” means “I’m not prioritizing this.” You have time - you just use it on other things.

If other people manage to do something and you don’t, that doesn’t mean they have more time; it just means they use their time differently. 

That’s neither positive nor negative; it just is.

Vendors: If you’re not responsive when a company reaches out with new biz for you, why should they believe you’ll be better down the road?
